“As a physio she goes above and beyond by keeping in touch outside of our sessions and always being approachable for even the smallest questions.”

Emma, Ware

“Shelley is definitely the best therapist I have had… she is straight into the problem to diagnose it, treat it and suggest prevention methods to stop it happening again. Just brilliant, 5 stars all the way!”

Nick, Biggleswade

“When I first started coming to Shelley I suffered with regular migraines and back pain. She suggested fortnightly treatments to start with and gave me a selection of stretches to do at home. I soon noticed a reduction in migraine attacks and relief from back and neck pain. I now see Shelley on a monthly basis which is enough to keep the migraines at bay and my back pain under control.”

Sarah, St Albans

WHAT IS SPORTS THERAPY?

Sports therapy is an aspect of healthcare that is specifically concerned with the assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of musculoskeletal injury. It is a discipline that aims to help get the client back to full, functional, occupational and sports specific fitness in the fastest but safest possible time regardless of age and ability.

It utilises the principles of Sports and Exercise Sciences incorporating physiological and pathological processes to prepare the participant for training, competition and work.

Sports Therapists aim to identify movement and training patterns that can or have lead to an injury and educate clients on how to avoid falling in to these bad habits.
